Zurich, Switzerland

Zurich has an attractive Old Town that runs along the
banks of the Limmat, a river connecting to Lake Zurich. The church in
the foreground is the Fraumünster. The church in the background
is St. Peter's, serving the oldest parish in Zurich. If you are
interested in learning more about Zurich, visit the city's
official tourism website
The picture below is of the left bank of the Limmat (as it flows into
Lake Zurich). The tall church is the Grossmünster and occupies a site
that has been the home a church since the first millennium. This
photograph is approximately across from the image above. Although
Zurich's Old Town is beautiful, the city is Switzerland's commercial center
and is considerably less appealing outside of the city center.
