Tuscany has varied landscapes, but it is most noted for its low, rounded hills
that are covered either with crops, forest, scrub or the occasional hill town,
as shown below.
Part of what makes Tuscany interesting for many is agri-tourism (agritourismo),
which provides the visitor with a chance to stay with a family that runs a
working farm. In some cases, the farm provides food and lodging.
In other cases, you can work along side of your hosts, farming the sunny
fields of Tuscany.
