Canada: Best Places to Visit

Canada offers the traveler  inviting mountain landscapes, interesting coastal provinces, and several unique cities and cultures. The culture in Canada's Québec Province is French, which gives the area the taste of the Old World. Other parts of the country are reminiscent of England, and yet other parts are clearly Native American. Canada is a large country whose size limits the scope of most vacations to exploration of one of the Country's provinces or regions, rather than an attempt to canvas the whole country. The best travel areas in Canada (Québec Province and the Mountainous West, including British Columbia) are on the opposite sides of the country.  Some would argue that the eastern Maritime Provinces are the best of Canada but we consider this coastal area is an acquired taste.
