►Hungary is a beautiful country but tourism but Budapest attracts the lion's share of visitors. Tourist facilities outside of Budapest, though widely available, are not as developed as those found in Western Europe.

Travel outside of Budapest is difficult for all but the most experienced traveler. In addition, the Hungarian language is not one that lends itself to use by the casual tourist. Outside of Budapest, English speaking Hungarians are few and far between.
