If  you really like gourmet food, you may want to adopt a strategy of "sampling" at the restaurants on our list.  Just stop in for soup or salad at one place and have an entree somewhere else.

You will have a lot of choices for dining when you are in Las Vegas, including restaurants from just about every national chain in existence. However, the list we provide below is focused on exceptional restaurants that provide a unique, high quality, culinary experiences. It is unlikely that you can find a concentration of food of this quality, prepared by some of the best chefs in the world, in any other city (perhaps, Paris).  At least one night while you are in Las Vegas, you should try a restaurant from this list (and at the prices some of them charge, one night might be all you can afford).

Speaking of prices our pricing guide does not include wine or other alcoholic beverages. Next, the restaurants we have labeled with a price range of Moderate-Expensive, offer a wide variety of meals and you can buy low or buy high, causing us to blend the categories where we thought the range of menu choices and prices warranted. Please note, prices may change and our pricing categorization may not be accurate or reflect your values. Check the menu prices before you order.

Note reservations are recommended for all restaurants on the list below and may be required by some of the restaurants.  Check with the hotel or the restaurant to be safe.

We have arranged our restaurant recommendations by hotel. Have your concierge make reservations for you.

Use our map of casino-resorts to determine the locations  mentioned below, if you want to walk to dinner.

Not So Fine Cuisine

- but oh so enjoyable anyway.  If you are up all night, have a car and taste for a tasty, cheap, heart clogging breakfast, look in the Yellow Pages for the locations of the Blueberry Hill chain of restaurants. The food is great, but the restaurants can be crowded on weekend mornings. Their waffles and pancakes are great values.
