main palace of the Hapsburgs, once one of the most important empires in Europe. Today the Hofburg is a complex of buildings that house an enormous variety of attractions. Be sure to see the Imperial Treasury and the Imperial Apartments. For the music lovers in the crowd, the Vienna Boys' Choir performs at the mass in the Imperial Chapel on Sundays. Of course, the complex also houses the Spanish Riding School with its famous Lippizan ballet.
